I work remotely with teams across Australia, and I keep engagements direct: you talk to the person doing the work, not a project coordinator relaying updates.
Most projects start with a short scoping conversation — what's broken, what "done" looks like, and which of your existing systems I need to work around. From there I scope a fixed project, a set number of hours, or an ongoing casual arrangement, whichever fits how your team already operates.
